Please pray for the repose of the soul of Bernadette (Bernie) Cullam (née Fallon), Cabra, Dublin and formerly of Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath. Bernadette passed away peacefully on 28th March 2025 at the Mater Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late John, and sister of the late Rose Wrafter, Moate Road, Kilbeggan. Bernie will be very sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughters Catherine and Frances, grandchildren, great-grandson, sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Lanigans Funeral Home, Faussagh Avenue, Cabra on Tuesday 1st April between 2pm and 4pm. Removal on Wednesday 2nd April to Church of Christ the King, Cabra arriving for 10am Mass, followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery. Frank Ryan

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Frank Ryan, Abbeybrook, Kilbeggan, and formerly Cloneyglin, Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath, who passed away 14th of March 2025, peacefully after a short illness in the compassionate care of the staff of the Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore with his loving family and friends by his side. Pre-deceased by his parents Frank and Nancy Ryan, brothers Joe and Damien.

Frank will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his loving daughters Andrea and Leanne, brother Aidan, sisters Myrna, Ann, Monica, Jacinta, Patricia, cherished grandchildren Lucia and Sadhbh, son’s-in-law Rory and Martan, brothers-in-law Terry, Des and Jimmy. Andrea and Leanne’s Mum Lucy and her partner Dave, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and a wide circle of neighbours and many many friends.

Kathleen Finnan (née Leavy)

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Kathleen Finnan (née Leavy), Kilnasavogue, Longford Town, Longford. Kathleen passed away peacefully after a short illness surrounded by her family in Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar. Pre-deceased by her parents James and Agnes and by her sisters Margaret Farrell and Louie Dillon. Kathleen will be sadly missed by her family; her loving husband Seamus, brother in law Barney Dillon, her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, Longford on Sunday from 6.00pm concluding with prayers at 8.00pm. Mass of the resurrection on Monday in St. Mel’s Cathedral at 1.00pm followed by interment in Ballymacormack Cemetery.


John O'Brien

Please pray for the repose of the soul of John O’Brien, Broadwood, Ballinagore, Co. Westmeath.
John passed away peacefully on 15th February 2025 in the tender care of the staff in Medical Ward 1 and palliative care ward at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar surrounded by his beloved wife Florence and family. Predeceased by his parents Margaret and Patrick, his brothers Seamus and Bill.

John will be forever missed and remembered by his loving wife and best friend Florence, brothers Patrick and Colm, sisters Rose (Redmond) and Ann (Murray), his beloved nephews and nieces, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives, great neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing on Monday (17th) at the Midland Regional hospital Mullingar Mortuary from 4pm-6pm. Removal to St. Michael’s Church Castletown Geoghegan via his residence arriving at 7pm approx. Funeral mass on Tuesday morning (18th) at 11am.

James (Jimmy) McLoughlin

Please pray for the repose of the soul of James (Jimmy) McLoughlin, The Newtown Corner and formerly Hall, Moate, Co. Westmeath. February 1st 2025, at The Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore. Predeceased by his parents Rita and Peter, brothers Tom and Gerry, sister Margaret, stepfather Tommy (Martin). Sadly, missed by his sisters Veronica, Geraldine and Mary, brother Peter (Kilbeggan), nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Flynn’s Funeral Home, Moate, this Sunday(2nd) from 4.30pm until 6pm. Removal on Monday(3rd) from his brother-in-law Paul Nestor’s Home, Hall to The Carmelite Church, Moate arriving at 11.50am for Funeral Prayers. Funeral Mass at 12(noon). Burial afterwards in Kilcleagh Cemetery, Castledaly.
