Please pray for the repose of the soul of Fr. Kevin McDevitt C.C. Hazelwood, Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath, passed away, peacefully, 20th March 2022. Predeceased by his brother Jim (Sligo).

Fr. Kevin, Hazelwood Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath, C.C. formerly The Ballagh, Blackwater Co. Wexford and Westminster Diocese U.K. Peacefully in the Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore. Deeply regretted by his sisters Rosemary (McLoughlin) Kildare, Patricia (Gannon) Kilbeggan, brothers Fr. Vincent McDevitt Holy Ghost Fathers Kimmage Dublin, John (Wexford), Damien (Donegal), Colm (Wexford), Gerard (Wicklow), sisters-in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and his many friends and parishioners.

Reposing at his residence, beside his sister Patricia’s house in Hazelwood, Kilbeggan, tomorrow (Monday 21st) from 5pm with rosary at 8pm. Arriving for funeral Mass at 2pm on (Tuesday) in St. James’ Church, Kilbeggan. Funeral Mass can be viewed live on https://www.kilbegganparish.ie/webcam/. Burial immediately afterwards in Castletown Geoghegan Cemetery. Fr. Kevin’s family would like to thank everyone for their support at this time. FUNERALS

Bereavement is always difficult, but it is made even more difficult now with the restrictions. The restrictions extend to the Funeral Mass too unfortunately with only 10 people allowed in the Church. This makes the grieving process even more difficult. The support of the extended family and parish community has always been a great support to the bereaved.

Below are the readings from which a family can choose for the Mass, and all the details regarding a Funeral Mass in our Parish. You can discuss these with me and any arrangements for the Funeral.
