Please pray for the repose of the soul of Rose (Roseleen) McCormack (nee McCaul), Main Street, Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath, and formerly of Ferbane, Co. Offaly. Rose passed peacefully on December 20th in the Esker Rí Nursing Home, Clara, in her 78th year and in the company of her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jack, her parents Pat and Susan, her sisters Philomena and Dolores, her brothers Paddy, John and J.J. She will be sadly missed by her sons Paul, Alan, Kenneth and Matthew, her sisters Maura, Susan, Kathleen, Breda and her brother Noel, her granddaughters, Chelsey and Lilly Rose, her grandsons, Calvin, Keegan and Senan, daughter-in-law Kerrie and her sons partners, Brenda, Annette and Scott, nephews, nieces, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Rose Rest in Peace

Reposing at Nannery’s Chapel of Rest Wednesday evening (22/12/21) from 4:30pm until 6:30pm with removal afterwards to St. James’ Church, Kilbeggan, arriving for funeral prayers at 7:00pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday (23/12/21) at 11:00am. with burial afterwards in the Relic Cemetery, Kilbeggan. Mass will be live streamed at https://www.kilbegganparish.ie/webcam/. Please observe Covid regulations and wear a face covering in the funeral home and church and refrain from shaking hands.

FUNERALS

Bereavement is always difficult, but it is made even more difficult now with the restrictions. The restrictions extend to the Funeral Mass too unfortunately with only 10 people allowed in the Church. This makes the grieving process even more difficult. The support of the extended family and parish community has always been a great support to the bereaved.

Below are the readings from which a family can choose for the Mass, and all the details regarding a Funeral Mass in our Parish. You can discuss these with me and any arrangements for the Funeral.
