“The Pope John Paul Award ceremony is taking place this weekend in St Patricks’, Trim. Bishop Deenihan will be presenting awards to a number of our students for the faith commitment they have shown over the last while. The Award enables participants to take an active part in the life of their Church – in the life of their community and society. It enables young people to become more aware of the teaching and role of the Catholic Church in the world and to engage at a deep level with Christ. Congratulations to students from Mercy Secondary School who receive awards this Saturday and thanks to Mr. Prendergast and Ms Kelly for coordinating the project :-

FUNERALS

Bereavement is always difficult, but it is made even more difficult now with the restrictions. The restrictions extend to the Funeral Mass too unfortunately with only 10 people allowed in the Church. This makes the grieving process even more difficult. The support of the extended family and parish community has always been a great support to the bereaved.

Below are the readings from which a family can choose for the Mass, and all the details regarding a Funeral Mass in our Parish. You can discuss these with me and any arrangements for the Funeral.
